– Present with Love – by Mount Vernon Sanctuary employs the “Yesterday”, “Today” and “Tomorrow” as the narrative over the course of a week-long event.

The “Yesterday” focus on telling “The Story” of Mount Vernon Sanctuary and the role that Mount Vernon and its vicinity plays in the national development of Singapore. This will be followed by “Today” with a focus on the state of death literacy and celebrating life in Singapore. “Tomorrow” will look closely at the future of death and the funeral profession in Singapore.

The activities, programmes and symposium will centre on the above themes to celebrate life, commemorate and mark a pause to Mount Vernon Sanctuary. Interact and learn with us through a series of activities including pop-up exhibitions showcasing interesting works from students of National University Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Remembrance Walk, Carnival and workshops in this week-long celebration.

In conjunction with the annual World United for Life Day celebrated worldwide, we are having a Remembrance Walk in the morning of 16 September 2018!

Join us in commemorating and honouring our loved ones – family, friends or even little pet friends who have left this world. Pen down messages to your beloved on your balloons as we walk in remembrance of them. First 500 registered participants will receive a goodie bag and an event T-shirt!

In addition, stand a chance to win attractive prizes worth over $1,000! Don’t miss the fun at the Carnival for a fun-filled experience for the whole family with refreshments, exciting games and interactive workshops from 9am!
